This notice explains how Renewal Fellowship handles the personal information you give us when you give online, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we store

Your first name, last name and email address, the amount, frequency and fund of your gift, the date you gave consent, and the payment confirmation PayFast sends us. We never see or store your card or bank details; PayFast handles those.

If you choose Give anonymously, we don't record your name, and church staff can't see your email address. We keep your email only to send your receipt and in case there's a problem with your payment.

Why we store it

To process your gift, send you a receipt, keep accurate financial records and, for monthly gifts, manage your recurring gift. We do not use it for marketing and we do not sell or share it, apart from with PayFast to process the payment.

How long we keep it

For as long as South African law requires us to keep financial records.

Your rights and who to contact

You may ask to see, correct or delete your information, or stop a monthly gift, at any time. Email community@renewalfellowship.co.za.
